About the Warsaw Medical University of Tadeusz Koźluk

Established in 1991, the Warsaw Medical University of Tadeusz Koźluk (formerly Private Higher School of Business and Administration - PWSBiA) is the first non-public higher education institution in Poland.

The mission of the Medical University of Warsaw is to educate professional medical staff in the following professions: nurses and midwives, physiotherapists, dietitians, cosmetologists, IT specialists specializing in healthcare IT processes, healthcare administration specialists. The university's profile is a response to the needs of the changing labor market of the health care and related sciences system in Poland. Our priority is to provide students with a high level of education and professional qualifications in accordance with the specific education standards and the needs of the Polish and European labor market.

The university fulfills its mission by conducting bachelor's and master's studies in the following fields: Nursing, Cosmetology, Dietetics, uniform master's studies in Physiotherapy, engineering studies in Computer Science and bachelor's studies in Administration. Studies are conducted full-time and part-time.

In the teaching process of MUMed, the emphasis is not only on theory in major and specialization subjects, but also on complementing the content of all lectured subjects with professional practice. The university cooperates with renowned health care institutions where students undergo professional internships. The portfolio of cooperating institutions is systematically expanded.

The basis of WUMed's strategy is development. We are constantly working on: improving and modernizing teaching conditions, modernizing specialist laboratories, acquiring highly qualified scientific staff, creating new fields of education in the field of medical and health sciences that respond to social demand and the labor market, expanding forms of scientific and international cooperation.
