Midwifery is a profession of particular social trust, a profession where, in addition to knowledge, skills and education, passion and vocation are necessary. It is a profession that touches on the mystery of life and that, in its vocation, helps in the most important moment - the moment of birth and development of a new life. A midwife "guards" the health of both the woman and her child - it is a very responsible profession, especially since it involves the need to make decisions independently, supported by legal acts.
