The main aim of the education in IT programs is to prepare graduates to work professionally as comprehensively educated IT engineers responsible for the development and implementation of IT systems. Our graduates, apart from fundamental engineering knowledge are specialized in the following areas:
- The use of IT in medicine, especially visualization methods, medical databases and the systems of medical units' management,
- Designing, implementing and managing companies' computer networks and distributed IT management systems,
- Designing, implementing and managing database and data warehouse systems especially in network environments,
- Designing, implementing and managing complex multimedia applications which operate in the field of providing various ICT services,
- Modern i.e. intelligent multimedia services,
- Designing and implementing complex ICT ventures especially their management,
- Designing, implementing, servicing and supervising the exploitation of control systems used in industry, administration and services and other types of institutions where robots are used.
At the time of completing IT studies and obtaining B. Sc. degree, graduates:
- Posses the knowledge of the fundamental IT aspects which enables them to solve IT problems independently – their specification and the implementation of solutions,
- Have skills to develop, implement and verify IT projects,
- Have skills to use multimedia techniques, especially visualization and animation,
- Have skills to install and manage simple network,
- Can use IT tools in practice and developed programming fluency,
- Have knowledge and technical skills related to operating IT equipment and software,
- Have knowledge which enables them to adapt to rapidly changing IT environment,
- Reached B2 level in English (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
